Introduction

The Outsiders Perspective Accelerator Programme is a not-for-profit platform that supports and enables the career transition of skilled, professional, people of colour with an existing knowledge base and passion to work in industry.

Our Candidates bring fresh perspectives, innovative thinking, a wider global consumer knowledge and business rigour, offering a competitive advantage to our growing list of brand partners as well as creating level opportunities for all.

Programme Overview

Our programme is crafted for people of colour, working outside of the fashion, luxury and beauty industries, who have always wanted to build a career within these sectors. 

If you possess a minimum of 4 year's experience in operational functions such as finance, HR, legal, logistics, marketing, and strategy, we invite you to apply to be a part of our incubator programme, tailored to support your transition into these fields.

As a participant in our programme, you will have a unique opportunity to learn, gain mentorship and get access to resources.

Application criteria

  • 01 Professional experience

    Candidates must have 4+ year's experience in alternate industries. Currently working outside of luxury, fashion, beauty and media in operational roles such as; finance, HR, legal or marketing.

  • 02 Person of colour
    You are a person of colour. This is the founding purpose of The Outsiders Perspective.

  • 03 Passion for luxury, fashion, beauty and media

    You are able to demonstrate that you have tried to access the industry in the past.

  • 04 Letter of intent

    Selected candidates are required to sign an agreement asserting their commitment to migrate into luxury, fashion, beauty and media.

  • 05 Availability

    You will be required to attend and complete 8 evening workshops and a networking event taking place in person in a central London location. Workshops will be held between 6.30pm – 9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings between 1st April - 7th May 2025. The networking event will be held between 5pm – 10.30pm on Monday 12th May.

  • 06 Residency

    You live and have the right to work in the UK. 

The TOP programme is free of charge for successful applicants. 

We require a commitment from selected candidates to attend all workshops, the networking event and to have a genuine desire to migrate into luxury, fashion, beauty and media.
