The Outsiders Perspective Accelerator Programme supports and enables the career transition of skilled, professional, people of colour with a passion to work in the luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries.

Programme Overview

Our programme is crafted for people of colour, working outside of the luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries, who have always wanted to build a career within these sectors. 

If you possess a minimum of 2 year's experience in a HQ role, such as finance, HR, legal, logistics, marketing, and finance, we invite you to apply to be a part of our accelerator programme, tailored to support your transition into these industries.

As a participant in our programme, you will have a unique opportunity to learn, gain mentorship and get access to resources.

    Participate in 6 expert led workshops led by industry leaders from leading brands: Chanel, Burberry, Harrods, Tiffany & Co. and Charlotte Tilbury to name a few. As well as our signature Network Event to meet leaders and talent acquisition.

  • Mentorship

    Receive unprecedented personalised guidance to support your career shift through CV workshops, interview preparation and insider knowledge.

  • Resources

    Access luxury fashion industry networks and leading employers.

Application criteria

  • 01 Professional experience

    Candidates must have 2+ year's experience in alternate industries. Currently working outside of luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and in operational roles such as; finance, HR, legal or marketing.

  • 02 Person of colour
    You are a person of colour. This is a founding purpose of The Outsiders Perspective.

  • 03 Passion for luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle

    You are able to demonstrate that you are passionate about and have tried to access the industry in the past.

  • 04 Availability

    You will be required to attend and complete 6 evening workshops and a networking event taking place in person in a central London location. Workshops will be held between 6.30pm – 9pm between 14th April to 6th May. The networking event will be held between 5pm – 9.30pm on Monday 11th May.

The Outsiders Perspective Accelerator Programme is fully funded by our brand partners and each seat holds a value of over £5k.

We require a commitment from selected candidates to attend all workshops, the networking event and to have a genuine desire to migrate into luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
