Introduction
The Outsiders Perspective is a not-for-profit incubation programme for people of colour, committed to increasing representation in operational roles in the fashion, luxury and beauty industries.
The programme provides accelerated insight into the industries and their business verticals, and offers the opportunity for networking and prospective employment with our brand partners.
Programme Overview
Our programme is crafted for people of colour, working outside of the fashion, luxury and beauty industries, who have always wanted to build a career within these sectors.
If you possess a minimum of 4 year's experience in operational functions such as finance, HR, legal, logistics, marketing, and strategy, we invite you to apply to be a part of our incubator programme, tailored to support your transition into these fields.
As a participant in our programme, you will have a unique opportunity to learn, gain mentorship and get access to resources.

Application criteria

01 Professional experience
Candidates must have 4+ year's experience in alternate industries. Currently working OUTSIDE of fashion, luxury and beauty in operational roles such as; finance, HR, legal or marketing.

02 Person of colour
You are a person of colour. This is the founding purpose of The Outsiders Perspective.

03 Passion for fashion and luxury
You are able to demonstrate that you have tried to access the industry in the past.

04 Letter of intent
Selected candidates are required to sign an agreement asserting their commitment to migrate into fashion, luxury and beauty.

05 Availability
You will be required to attend and complete 8 evening workshops and a networking event taking place in person in a central London location. Workshops will be held between 6.30pm – 9pm on the evenings of October 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd and November 5th, 6th, 2024. The networking event will be held between 5pm – 10.30pm on the evening of November 11th.

The TOP programme is free of charge for successful applicants.
We require a commitment from selected candidates to attend all workshops, the networking event and to have a genuine desire to migrate into fashion, luxury and beauty.
